The vineyards are turning a shade of hopeful green: the grass is growing and bringing life to our hills.
It’s beautiful when these colours bloom, but also concerning: we’re once again ahead of the usual season. That said, complaining is never the solution, so the only thing to do is enjoy what’s here: the "Madonna’s eyes" are stunning and are now taking centre stage, while a few shy primroses are starting to appear. I still haven’t figured out which is my favourite season, I think I’m someone who loves the winter cold just as much as the fresh spring air that almost gives an adrenaline rush. And with this energy, I’m about to embark on an exciting journey.
I’ve packed a big suitcase: because I will face three different seasons in these 25 days.
I left Singapore, where a client of ours organised a series of events with our wines for International Women's Day on March 8th. I’m now heading straight to America. First stop: the Slow Wine Tour in Los Angeles, then I’ll head to the cold in Seattle and Vancouver. Finally, I’ll return to the warmth with Las Vegas and Austin, where I’ll end with a major event organised by our Consortium: the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening.
It’s a long and quite demanding journey, but I can’t wait! I always rush when packing, never knowing where to start, but it’s done now: whatever is in the suitcase is what I’ll have. Time to go.
Maybe I’ll see some of you at one of the stops on this journey, if not, we’ll have other opportunities, both abroad and in the cellar. Now, with the lovely season, we’ve reopened for visits, and Bikesquare has also opened the e-bike rental station in our courtyard.

THE R-WOMEN PROJECT BY SAPORI RECLUSI
This project aims to give a voice and dignity to women, starting with Afghanistan. It seeks to shine a light on a truth that is ignored or uncomfortable to face, and to fuel the debate on women’s conditions in contemporary society.
Our goal is to give voice to Afghan women and keep the discussion on gender equality alive, because it is a battle that concerns everyone, here and everywhere.
